Exam Preparation Programmes (IELTS & TOEFL)

The Exam Preparation Programmes are designed to evaluate the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication. IELTS and TOEFL are recognised by universities and employers in most countries including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. Students will complete written tasks effectively as well as speak fluently and confidently under interview conditions. Immediate comprehension skills for all areas tested will be honed together with time management knowledge required to excel in the exam. UCSI is also an IELTS testing venue, working together with IDP Australia. London English Academy provides an action plan to enable candidates to realise academic potential.

IELTS Programme Schedule for 2008

Full Time Preparation
1. Class Hours: Weekday class (0900 to 1100 & 1130 to 1330) Mon - Fridays
2. Duration: 1 month 60 Class hours & 20 Consultation hours
                     (to be scheduled with lecturer)
3. Fees: same as EEP monthly & registration fees
4. Schedule: Jan 11th - 31st, Feb 11th - 29th, Mar 3rd - 24th, Apr 7th - 25th, May 10th - 24th, June
                        14th - 28th, July 12th - 26th, Aug 9th - 23rd, Sept 6th - 20th, Oct 4th - 18th, Nov 8th -                        22nd, Dec 13th - 27th

Part Time Preparation
1. Class Hours: Weekend class (0830 to 1230) Saturday
2. Duration: 2 months 24 hrs
3. Fees: RM800 / Registration: RM100
4. Schedule: Jan 12th - 26th, Feb 9th - 23rd, Mar 8th - 22nd, Apr 5th - 19th, May 10th - 24th, June

Workshop Preparation

IELTS EXAM@UCSI
1. Exam Day: Saturday
2. Duration: 4 hours
3. Fees: RM550 (applicable with classes only) RM600 (walk-ins)
4. Schedule: March 08th, July 05th, Dec 06th

Commencement of any of the classes and exams is contingent upon the minimum number of students enrolled and determined by London English Academy and its policies.
